1) Protection Magick: The Gray Witch Way
To bind or not to bind, to hex or not to hex– What’s a witch to do when she’s confronted by a bully? Because a magical practitioner has more of an arsenal in her handbag with which to defend herself than the average person, you would think that her options would be varied and her reasons for using them valid. However, in the modern day world of the witch, there are several people and groups who propose the somewhat Christian option of ‘turning the other cheek’. We also have pagan purists who scream ‘Karma’ and gather their magical skirts about them in a panic.
The result of this is that it leaves many of the witches in the world, afraid to rile the purists or negatively influenced by the neo-flower children, completely unprotected and open to the dark energies of an enemy, the destructive forces of a foe, or victims of the rampant overwhelming energies generated by a group. It leaves the witch, plain and simple, between a rock and a hard place.

2) Workplace Mojo: Bad Bosses Beware
As I sit here, right now, let’s put a spell together on a whim and a fancy, by the seat of our pants. So often I’ve noticed, especially with people new to witchcraft, that we tend to rely on spells being laid out before us, all black and white, neatly listed, pre-packaged, and ready to go– kind of like fast food. We shouldn’t be afraid to slap together a spell of our own making, our own unique creation. Not only will it ‘feel’ good when you cast it, it will carry so much of your magickal energy and power of intention that it’s bound to cause a tremor through the universe...
3) Court Case Mojo
The one time in your life, when you will be relieved of any control over what happens to you, what happens to a loved one, what happens to a victim, or what happens to a perpetrator, will be in a court room. The one time when fate and destiny will definitely lay in the hands of a single individual (a judge), or a group of individuals (a jury), will be in the court room. In a world of perfection, justice would prevail in these episodes 100% of the time; but we don’t live in a perfect world, and once in a while, this system– created by men, flawed by humanity, fails. And when it fails, it usually fails in a big way, an irreversible way, an in-your-face-I’m-gonna-wreck-your-life way. But we don’t have to close our eyes and wait for the consequences of this system to strike us in a helter-skelter totally unpredictable whimsical fashion. We can take control of destiny, of fate, of our own circumstances, or those of a loved one, through very old, very powerful, very successful moj0-- Court Case Mojo...
