Episode #15 ~ Daily Cards/Daily Energy

King/pentacles; The Sun (R); 7/cups (R); The Emperor

At first glance, where are these cards taking us?

  • there's a man who usually maintains a controlled and well-balanced life
  • he's come to a point where an important decision needs to be made
  • the situation that he's in and that has brought him to this point makes him unhappy
  • he wants to regain control and personal power

Is there a theme or point here that takes priority?

  • the decision marks a pivotal point in his journey
  • the right decision will give him back his life as he knew it

Now draw a series of cards as many as you need, to tell the story...

My Cards:

3/pentacles; The Devil; Ace/cups (R); Knight/wands; 7/pentacles; The Magician (R)

There's the real sense of a loss of personal power and direction brought home once more with The Devil and the reversed Ace.  Because of rash actions, and probably unwise choices, a relationship that was once flourishing is now floundering, and its future is dependent upon a very important decision... which in reality comes down to someone's "choice".

Power lost will be restored once someone realizes that the key here is not only logical decisions but healthy choices, and choices made for the right reasons.  There was action taken quickly, way too quickly, without a lot of thought.  Hindsight being what it is, someone knows they acted too rashly without thinking through the final consequences, and they regret it now.

You can fix this with the right decision.

Episode #14 ~ Daily Cards/Daily Energy

4/cups (R); 9/pentacles; 3/swords (R); 4/wands

What are the principles of this unfolding story?

  • something is FINALLY going to be addressed/resolved
  • contentment restored after a heartbreaking confrontation/ultimatum
  • a reason to celebrate is going to be restored

What is the strongest point touched on here?

  • someone has gotten the courage to face something unpleasant
  • a relationship issue has been resolved
  • there has been a decision to move forward with plans

Now draw a series of cards, as many as you need to tell the story...

My Cards:

Page/swords; Knight/pentacles; The Moon (R); Justice; Queen/cups; 5/swords (R)

There had to be a verbal confrontation, and during this process someone had to be strong enough to point out inconsistencies and openly confront a liar; or a liar had to be strong enough to know when to acknowledge their lies and ask for forgiveness -- or both.  It looks like there might have been a small penance to pay if this were the case, because the emotional fallout for the victim to these untruths was traumatic, and there needs to be a bit of vengeance... er, justice.  With that said, the battle that was fought brought an end to the war.
